Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Couchbase, Inc. (“Couchbase”) and govern your purchase of the Couchbase Capella™ Quickstart Starter Kit, the Couchbase Capella™ Develop Starter Kit or the Couchbase Capella™ Production Ready Starter Kit (each, a “Capella Starter Kit”). By purchasing a Capella Starter Kit, you accept and agree to these terms and conditions.
A Capella Starter Kit may only be purchased by Couchbase Capella customers who (i) do not have an existing Couchbase Capella account or (ii) have an existing Couchbase Capella account and have purchased no more than 5,000 credits (excluding Capella Starter Kits). Couchbase Capella customers will enter into a valid order form with Couchbase for the purchase of prepaid Developer Pro or Enterprise service plan credits as part of the Capella Starter Kit.
The Capella Starter Kits may not be purchased subject to any other offers, promotions or discounts. You may not purchase each of the Quickstart Starter Kit, Develop Starter Kit and the Production Ready Starter Kit more than one (1) time (regardless of credit service plan selection) (for illustration, you may buy one (1) Develop Starter Kit with either Developer Pro or Enterprise service plan credits).
The award of, as part of the Quickstart Starter Kit, (1) any Capella prepaid credits, or, as part of the Develop Starter Kit, (i) any Capella prepaid credits, (ii) Couchbase Consulting Days, and (iii) Certification voucher to the Associate Developer E-Learning Course, or, as part of the Production Ready Starter Kit, (a) any Capella prepaid credits, (b) a Production Readiness Review voucher, and (c) Certification voucher to the Associate Developer E-Learning Course (collectively, the “Promotion Incentives”) is subject to the completion and acceptance by Couchbase of a valid order form. Promotion Incentives cannot be redeemed for cash equivalent. No refunds will be granted for any Capella Starter Kit, including for any Promotion Incentives.
The award of your Promotion Incentives is not immediate upon your purchase of the Capella Starter Kit and may take a few days to process and receive.
The Promotion Incentive vouchers will be sent to you by email to the email address you have used to create your Couchbase Capella account.
If a Certification voucher is awarded in a promotion, such voucher may only be used by you, may not be used by or transferred to anyone else, must be redeemed prior to the voucher expiry date (or otherwise forfeited).
If a Production Readiness Review voucher is awarded in the Promotion, the accessibility and use of the Production Readiness Review voucher will be subject to additional terms and conditions to be agreed between you and Couchbase, the voucher may only be used by you and may not be used by or transferred to anyone else, must be redeemed prior to the voucher expiry date (or otherwise forfeited).
Couchbase reserves the right to limit, change or withdraw or otherwise alter these Terms at any time, including to cease offering any Capella Starter Kit.
Couchbase reserves the right to charge then-applicable list prices for any Promotion Incentives if a Customer fraudulently purchases any Capella Starter Kit or exceeds the limitations set forth above.
The Couchbase privacy policy available at https://www.couchbase.com/privacy-policy applies to these terms and conditions and your purchase of a Capella Starter Kit.
